  • In 127 Speedway starts, Starr has three wins, three poles, 28 top-five and 60 top-10 finishes.  He has led 153 laps on this particular style of track.
  • Starr sits fifth in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series points battle right now.  He is 62 points out of the fourth spot.

New Venues: “I am so glad that the Camping World Truck Series is finally going to Chicago to race.  It will be a great thing for our series I hope.  It’s nice to see when NASCAR spreads us out to new markets.  It is no secret that the economy is taking its toll on racing, and many other sporting events, this year.  So to spread us out and reach out to new race fans can be a great thing for us all.  Chicagoland Speedway is a state of the art facility and we will really explore it together as a series.  We’ve raced in Chicago before but never at this particular track.  I hear all the Cup Series veterans talking about how the track is during the race, so we will keep that in mind when we take the green flag.”

Careerbuilder.com Partnering with Zachry for the Chicagoland Speedway race: “I have enjoyed working with Zachry so much and am thrilled to see them get some more partners on board with our racing operation.  We love working with Zachry and know that any partner of theirs is a partner of ours at HT Motorsports.  This weekend we hope to give Careerbuilder.com and Zachry a win in this inaugural race in Chicago.  I have complete confidence in this team and know that our showing in Chicago is going to be a strong one.”

Backs Against the Wall: “When our backs are up against the wall, we just keep fighting and keep digging.  It shows each race we run.  Even if our truck is not the winning truck, we never give up and keep working on it.  We have had some great top 10 finishes that way.  It seems as though when the team is pushed, they shove back and that is a great feeling to be a part of.  I’ve learned it doesn’t matter where you start – its how you finish.  And if we keep fighting all the way to the end, I know we will have more strong runs.  That is the character of this racing team and the attitude.  Their morale is they just never give up.  Everybody just keeps a smile on their face and they keep digging even when we have our backs up against the wall.  I can’t say enough about this race team.  We keep building on this championship points race week in and week out and that is what is counting the most right now.  I know wins will come for us, hopefully the first one this weekend.”
